it disappears off the iplayer on july 1st so i ripped it to mp3! i took the news out of the middle and clipped down the edges to bring it down to 58 minutes but all of the songs and captain’s witterings are still there.
R.I.P. John Millar
Just heard the sad news that Rat’s dad has died. As someone on the Damned message board pointed out,
“It should never be forgotten amongst Damned fans that John Millar took the band on when they were close to going for good and helped sort them out financially and negotiated a deal so they could record the Friday 13th EP (which helped finance the recording of Strawberries) when they were still tied to the Chiswick contract”
He was always involved in the band and very supportive, and my thoughts are with Rat and his family.
